Based on 2006 taxation year, the rounded split for taxes was:

• School Divisions 52%
• City of Weyburn 48%

52% of the taxes you pay go directly to the School Divisions and 48% remains with the City for our operations.

Also in 2006, part of the City's operation budget included $223,477 Regional Library Levy and $60,980 for the Public Library.
