Released June 25, 2019WEYBURN – Residents in the Weyburn and surrounding area are invited to attend a come-and-go information session to discuss options and offer feedback for future safety improvements in the Weyburn Region.
The open house is to be held at Crescent Point Place (327 Mergen St. NW) on Thursday, July 4 from 5:30-7:30 p.m., and is hosted by the Government of Saskatchewan, City of Weyburn and the Rural Municipality of Weyburn.
Representatives from the City of Weyburn, RM of Weyburn, WSP Engineering and the Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure will be in attendance to listen to comments and answer any questions you may have about transportation in the area.
Once complete, the study will identify short-term to long-term infrastructure needs based on existing and future travel projections.
The study will focus on highways, and key arterial and collector roads within the city and the RM. The study will examine potential new links to support future growth and improve the overall network.
