A business license is required by any business which intends to operate a commercial, merchandising, or industrial activity within the City of Weyburn corporate boundaries.
An application must be completed to include name, occupation, address of applicant, nature of business and location of business. There are two separate types of application forms depending on if you are considered a “Non-Resident Business License” or a “Resident Business License”.
Depending on the operation of your business, This process may involve other permits for operation. For example, Food Truck vendors are required to have a development permit and a business license before operation is allowed within the City. All businesses are also mandated to follow the protocols set out by the Province of Saskatchewan and the Ministry of Health to ensure operation is safe for the public.
