WEYBURN – The 2020 provincial election is over but excitement for the Weyburn municipal election is beginning to build with election day less than two weeks away.
The City of Weyburn is encouraging residents to learn about their local candidates and educate themselves on how to vote in the upcoming election on Nov. 9.
Voting information, candidate profiles and other election resources can be found on the City of Weyburn website www.weyburn.ca/elections.
The Weyburn Chamber of Commerce is hosting a virtual municipal all-candidates forum on Oct. 27, starting at 7 p.m. The forum will be streamed by AccessNow TV online at www.myaccess.ca/decision2020. Questions can be posed to candidates and must be submitted to the Weyburn Chamber of Commerce by emailing admin@weyburnchamber.com.
‘Weyburn Votes’ flyers were distributed on Oct. 26 to all Weyburn residences, with information on how, when and who can vote in the 2020 municipal election. A copy can also be found on the City of Weyburn website.
