Update April 21
The Weyburn landfill is open for regular hours; 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. over the weekend.

The City asks for residents’ patience as the unprecedented amount of snow will cause the collection trucks to move slower than usual. We thank everyone for their understanding.
Update April 20
Due to weather conditions, garbage collection scheduled for Area 1 and recycling collection scheduled for area 2 have been postposed to April 21.
The Weyburn landfill remains closed Friday.

Update @ 2:30 p.m., April 19
Garbage collection for Area 1 scheduled for Thursday, April 20 will be postponed, due to the extreme winter conditions.
Both Areas 1 and 2 will be collected Friday, April 21. Currently, recycling collection will remain as scheduled.
The City thanks the residents for their patience during this time.
April 19, 2023
As of noon on April 19, the Weyburn landfill is closed until further notice due to weather conditions.
City crews are continuing with garbage pickup scheduled in area 5 on Wednesday, as weather permits. Updates on garbage collection in area 1, scheduled for Thursday, will be determined later in the afternoon on Wednesday.
The City apologies for the inconvenience and is working diligently to keep priority routes clear during the storm system.
