SUMMARY:2021 Walk of Fame Ceremony
DESCRIPTION:WEYBURN –  the Committee is excited to announce that the 2021 Walk of Fame ceremony will be held at 2:00 p.m. on September 11 in front of City Hall. \nAs announced in the spring\, Kathryn Groshong and Graham DeLaet\, both accomplished Weyburn athletes\, will be the 2021 inductees. \n \nCommittee Chair\, Councillor Dick Michel said “We are thrilled that Mrs. Groshong and Mr. DeLaet will be inducted in our Walk of Fame this year and we are excited to hold a public ceremony to honour both of these individuals\, for their success in their sports careers \,” \nGroshong and DeLaet have each represented Weyburn at provincial and national levels in their respective sports\, and embody many characteristics that are the essence of Weyburn identity. \nVisit the City of Weyburn website for more information on the Walk of Fame\, including past inductees and application criteria: www.weyburn.ca/walk-of-fame/. \n
