DESCRIPTION:Tuesday\, January 7 –\nThursday\, February 27 \nAllie Griffin Art Gallery \nThe Allie Griffin Art Gallery and Weyburn Arts Council is hosting the 36th Annual James Weir People’s Choice multi-artist show\, where residents of Weyburn are invited to vote for their favourite works of art.  \nThis is Exhibition will be on display until February 27\, 2020 at the Allie Griffin Arts Gallery located on the lower level at the Weyburn Public Library\, 45 Bison Ave.  \nCurator Regan Lanning hosts a large number of school tours through the exhibit. The children are encouraged to look deeper and explore the meanings and messages in the art. If you would like to book a guided gallery tour of the exhibit\, contact (306) 848-3278. This program is organized by the Weyburn Police Service \nJumpstart Bike Rodeo will be in full compliance with the guidelines and restrictions as required by the Chief Medical Health Officer and regulated under the Government of Saskatchewan’s Re-open Saskatchewan plan. Spectators will be required to follow physical distancing protocols. \nRegistration deadline is Friday\, August 7\, 2020. By registering\, you are entered to win a grand prize from Canadian Tire Weyburn. There will also be many other prizes given away during the event. \nFinancial assistance is available from Jumpstart Charity for those in need of a bicycle and helmet. DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, June 12\n9 a.m. – 3 p.m.\nPublic Works roundhouse\nTo help residents dispose of household hazardous wastes\, the City of Weyburn will host its annual Household Hazardous Waste Day event on Saturday\, June 12\, 2021 at the Public Works roundhouse located at 55 16th St. NE. \nThis is a great way to safely dispose of household chemicals\, light bulbs\, batteries\, medications and other hazardous items. Materials will be recycled and disposed of in an environmentally responsible manner. \nIMPORTANT – A piece of identification with proof of address will be required for anyone disposing of waste at the roundhouse.\nCheck out the poster below to see what items are acceptable and what not to bring. Please contact the Engineering Department at (306) 848-3230 with any questions about acceptable items.

Join us as we plant 150 Black Hills Spruce Trees along the City’s Tatagwa Parkway. Parking is available in the area and attendees are encouraged to bring chairs and water to relax and remain hydrated. \n50 spots are available for individuals or groups up to 3 people.
