UPDATE: Additional garbage collection days added to December 2025 and 2026 schedule
The City of Weyburn’s 2026 refuse and recycling schedules are now available so you can plan your pickup days well before the new year begins.
New changes to accepted recycling materials in Saskatchewan blue bins
Starting September 2025, SK Recycles, skrecycles.ca, will take over responsibility for processing recyclable materials in Saskatchewan.
Garbage collection schedule changes April 22-23
Area 2, 3, 4 & 5 pickup have been rescheduled due to the Easter long weekend.
Bi-weekly garbage collection begins Dec. 4
Starting Dec. 4, residential refuse collection changes to a bi-weekly pickup schedule. This will run until March 25, 2024.
Tips on what to do with yard waste before winter season
Weyburn residents have various options for disposing of yard waste, but the simplest answer is compost or bag it!
Recycling collection to resume in Area 4 on July 7
On Friday, the collection truck will only pickup the bins which were not able to be collected on Thursday, along with the regularly scheduled Area 5 pickup.
