The City of Weyburn offers its residents a safe and responsible way to dispose of household hazardous material every spring.
It is important that residents recycle and dispose of hazardous materials from their homes in an environmentally responsible manner. Household hazardous waste is not allowed in curbside garbage bins and should never be poured down the drain or stormwater sewers.
IMPORTANT – A piece of identification with proof of address will be required for anyone disposing of waste at the roundhouse.
During HHWD, the City accepts household hazardous waste such as chemicals, fertilizers, aerosols, paint, batteries and light bulbs.
SARCAN (1800 Ebel Rd.) will be open June 12 to accept paint and electronics.
Contact the Engineering department at (306) 828-3230 for further information.
