- Those who are sick or have symptoms related to COVID-19 must stay home.
- Avoid overcrowding. Individual groups must not exceed the current restrictions on outdoor public gatherings.
- If the spray park or pool is busy, come back when it’s not as busy or use another play area.
- Practice proper hand hygiene and reduce physical contact with spray features wherever possible.
- Use spray park at own risk.
- Children should be supervised at all times by a parent or guardian, and reminded not to touch or contact others.
SPRAY PARK
The Weyburn Young Fellows spray park is located in Don Mitchell Park and features hand sensors to turn on water. It houses dump buckets, a rainbow of colors that spray, canon sprayers and numerous geysers.
The spray park typically opens the May long weekend until the second week of September (weather permitting).
The water will not turn on past 9 p.m.
PADDLING POOL
A paddling pool is also located in Don Mitchell Park and features a well-treed and irrigated green park space. During operational hours, a supervisor is in attendance and washrooms available. Children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Washrooms are available for public use during the operations hours.
HOURS OF OPERATION:
Paddling pool opens June 14, 2021.
Monday to Saturday: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.
(Closed for lunch from 12-1 p.m.)
Sunday: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
