Weyburn Electric Light & Machine Company

Weyburn’s electric utility came into being 1905 when Weyburn Electric Light & Machine Company was formed by a group of  Canadian Pacific Railway employees. This present building was constructed when the City of Weyburn took over the utility in 1909. In January of 1960, the power plant was sold to SaskPower Corporation. It is presently the Weyburn Soo Line Historical Museum.
