Weyburn has been selected to take part in an important initiative to strengthen our community: the development of a Community Safety and Well-Being (CSWB) plan.
This initiative, facilitated by the Saskatchewan Economic Development Alliance (SEDA) and supported by the Ministry of Justice, is designed to bring together residents, organizations, businesses and governments to help make Weyburn an even better place to live, work and grow.
What is CSWB Planning?
At its core, CSWB planning is about identifying local priorities that impact quality of life and working together to address them. Things like education, health, safety, housing, economic opportunity and cultural inclusion. The goal is a thriving community where everyone feels safe, supported and connected.
Why Now?
Weyburn is one of five Saskatchewan communities selected to develop a local CSWB plan. This is a proactive step forward and one that allows us to understand current strengths and challenges. The goal is to create a shared plan for a safer, healthier future.
Have Your Say
We’re inviting residents, business owners, and community members to take part in a short survey to help guide this process. Your input will help shape the direction of local strategies and ensure that the plan reflects the real experiences and needs of our community.
