Plant a tree. Make a difference.
Join us for the City of Weyburn’s annual Tatagwa Tree Day. A hands-on community event that helps green our city and brings families, friends, and neighbours together.
The 2026 location is to be determined. The planting site will be prepped and ready with pre-dug holes, soil, tree chippings, flag markers, and directional signage to guide the way.
The event is open to all ages, with hot dogs, goodies, and prize giveaways for the kids.
Date: Saturday, August 8, 2026
Time: 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Location: TBD
City of Weyburn Parks staff will be on site to help with planting and answer questions:
- You are encouraged to bring chairs and water to relax and remain hydrated.
- Bring along gloves and a hat for protection.
Tatagwa Tree Day is funded through Saskatchewan Lotteries via the Associated Saskatchewan Urban Parks and Conservation Agencies (ASUPCA)
