The museum displays the largest private silver collection with in the world along with articles and artifacts of the past in the Weyburn and surrounding area. It is a non-profit, charitable and educational institution open to the public.
The Wilson Silver Collection consists of more than 5,000 items dated from 1750 to 1972. You will view everything from full tea services to opera glasses and spoons. Mr. Wilson was a bachelor who lived on the family farm northwest of Weyburn. After a lifetime of attending auction sales, he chose to will his collection to the Soo Line Historical Museum so everyone might enjoy his lifetime of collection.

The Museum is located on Highway #39 East, and hours of operation are:
Open 7 days a week: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. from May 13 – August 30, 2019
September 1, 2019 – November 30, 2019: Saturdays 1-5 p.m.
Closed from December 1, 2019 – March 31, 2020
Off-season tours are available by appointment. Please contact (306) 848-3218 from Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
