The City of Weyburn maintains and operates two indoor arenas and one outdoor skating rink.
Located at 327 Mergens St. NW
The Weyburn Colosseum was built in 1960 and has had several renovations and expansion projects done to enhance the facility.
With the renovation process, naming rights of the facility were purchased by Crescent Point Energy Trust in 2008. In 2025, Whitecap Resources Inc. signed a one-year naming rights agreement.
Whitecap Resources Centre is an excellent facility for all types of activities. This facility has a regulation size ice surface (85′ x 200′), a seating capacity of 1475 (view the seating chart here), standing area, private boxes and viewing from the lobby (1900 total capacity).

The Tom Zandee Sports Arena was built in 1982 adjacent to Whitecap Resources Centre as a second ice facility, with an ice surface of 85 feet by 190 feet and a seating capacity of 400 through out the lobby, main level and upper level.
The Credit Union Spark Centre has change rooms accessible to the outdoor rink in the winter season.
The surface is a multi-use concrete pad (200 ft x 85 ft) with benches and dasher boards.
Winter hours of operation:
Public skating from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
For all ages to enjoy the rink at their own pace.
Open ice from 3-10 p.m.
Where hockey enthusiasts can bring pucks and sticks.

If there is Open ice as part of a regular user group block (ie: Hockey Weyburn) that you are interested in personally (NON Hockey Weyburn Team) please email, we may be able to accommodate.
Any regular season, including carded and provincial teams with Hockey Weyburn are permitted to rent facilities through Hockey Weyburn.

Free Programming
The City of Weyburn offers free skating opportunities during the fall/winter season. There are two types of programs:
- Public Skate: Sticks and pucks are not allowed.
- Stick & Puck: Sticks and pucks are allowed. Helmets mandatory – participate at your own risk.

*Jubilee Park Rink operates from mid-December to mid-February. Scheduled TBD; stay tuned!
