CANADA DAY CELEBRATIONS!
Join us at the Leisure Centre in celebrating Canada Day on July 1st! The day is jam packed with a variety of events including a pancake breakfast, free swimming & kids activities, a Canada Flag Ceremony, birthday cake and a barbecue! Fireworks will be at the exhibition grounds at dusk! Click HERE for more details.
We celebrate Culture Days on September 29th, 30th and October 1st by exploring the arts & culture in Weyburn & area! From photography to Ukrainian dancing, Culture Days are full of a wide variety of events for you to take in. Email the Signal Hill Arts Centre for more info!
DUCK DERBY FALL FAMILY FESTIVAL!
Each Fall the City of Weyburn Staff team up with the Weyburn & District United Way to raise funds for the Communithon. 5000 ducks are sold and raised down the mighty Souris River, in a race to win a fabulous cash prize! The boardwalk is lined with spectators taking in the barbecue, the music & the many kids activities taking place at the event! For more info email the event organizers!
MOVIE IN THE PARK!
A Free Kids movie is held in Jubilee Park in the summer months each year! The event is sponsored by the City of Weyburn, Fresh Air Cinema and Sask Lotteries. Email the Leisure Services for more information!
WEYBURN WHEAT FESTIVAL!
On August 9th – 11th we will be celebrating 22 years of the Weyburn Wheat Festival in 2018! There is lots to see and do! Come and check out the Weyburn & Area Heritage Village Days!
Soo Line Museum’s Family Fun Festival is a must! The museum will also host a bread baking contest! Email the Museum for more information!
If you’re in the mood to see some local talent, stop by the Signal Hill Arts Centre for the Summer Art Festival!
Horticulture Show is at Knox Hall & the play put on by Crocus 80 Theatre will be at the TC Douglas Centre!

Dress warm & join us in Jubilee Park on Family Day each year for this free family Winter Festival! Take in the the outdoor events from 1-3:00 p.m. which include cross country skiing, snowshoeing & skating (bring your helmet!) The firefighters ill be on hand with a roaring bonfire to warm you up, and free hot chocolate and hot dogs will be served by the Rotary Club!
There will also be free swimming at the Leisure Centre all day & a craft class in the ‘Fun in the Sun Room’ from 2-4 p.m.
