Plant a tree. Make a difference.
Join us for the City of Weyburn’s annual Tatagwa Tree Day. A hands-on community event that helps green our city and brings families, friends, and neighbours together.
This year, we’re back in the Signal Hill walking trail area, where the planting site will be prepped and ready with pre-dug holes, soil, tree chippings, flag markers, and directional signage to guide the way.
With the help of approximately 50 participants, we’ll be planting 140 trees, including Spruce, Poplar, Buffaloberry, and Manitoba Maple. The event is open to all ages, with hot dogs, goodies, and prize giveaways for the kids.
Date: Saturday, August 16, 2025 (NEW DATE)
Time: 9:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.
