This postcard was discovered amongst the papers of the late Frances Tait of Weyburn. She lived most of her life in this area and her children and grandchildren are still local residents. The postcard was purchased at a local business (Warren’s Drug Store) the year her son, Reg, was born. Eighty-seven years later this little bit of photographic history, that was tucked away in a box, gives us the chance to view some of the wonders of Weyburn’s architecture, some of which we have lost, and some of which we have had a chance to preserve. This fine print indicates the postcard was published by O.S. Mitchell Drugs & Stationery, Weyburn.
