WEYBURN – The City of Weyburn’s 16th St. Water Station now offers a credit card payment system as an alternative to coin.
The station, located at the entrance to the Fire Department/Public Works Facility at 55 16th St., accepts all major credit cards, is user friendly and simple to use.
The 16th St. system does not accept debit cards. The coin system will remain in place through the summer and fall but will be phased out prior to the end of 2019.
The City also announces that the seasonal coin operated water station, located on Queen St., is now operational for the summer and fall of 2019.
Please note that the untreated well water at this Queen St. station is not potable and therefore unsuitable for human consumption.
The cost of water at the Queen St. station is significantly discounted (50 per cent) in comparison to that of treated water from the 16th St. station.
