WEYBURN – During Regular Council meeting on Tuesday April 14, 2020, City Council passed amendments to the Urban Forestry Bylaw. These amendments were made to maintain consistency with language used, due to change in organization structure.
Amendments were also made to pruning in the Urban Forestry Bylaw. The Owner of private shrubs or hedges must keep them trimmed 30 centimeters from the back of the sidewalk. This was changed to all lots in Weyburn instead of only corner lots.
