WEYBURN – The Weyburn Police Commission recently became aware of comments made through social media by a member of the Weyburn Police Service that were seen as inappropriate to some community members. We want to ensure the public that we are dealing with this issue and want to provide the resources available for community members. The safety and well-being of all Weyburn residents is a priority for the Weyburn Police Board.
The Weyburn Police service takes calls for assistance seriously. The Board will continue to address situations regarding illicit drugs and overdoses in the City. Weyburn Police Service has been assisting EMS in these instances and will continue to do so as the well-being of all Weyburn citizens is first and foremost.
There are many resources available to the public in the City of Weyburn to assist in a variety of ways.
