Some of the City’s 200 permanent art pieces were prepared for transport to the new Credit Union Spark Centre, where they will be kept in an modern storage collection room.
WEYBURN – Members of the Weyburn Arts Council recently assisted in cataloguing the City of Weyburn’s Permanent Art Collection.
Pieces in the collection had their information updated and condition noted before being wrapped for transport to the new Collections Storage Room at the Credit Union Spark Centre.
For almost 50 years, the Weyburn Arts Council has been acquiring art for the City. The City’s collection now holds more than 200 pieces, most of which are created primarily in Saskatchewan.
