WEYBURN – Canada’s next census will be held in May 2021 and Statistics Canada is hiring approximately 32,000 people across the county.
Census information is vital for planning programs and services at the national, provincial, territorial and local levels. Schools, housing, and health and emergency services are all planned using census data.
Members of the collection team will help ensure that every person is counted in the 2021 Census. Census jobs are short-term positions collecting census questionnaires from residents in your community. Job start and end dates vary by position and location, but are between March and July 2021.
In Weyburn, Crew Leaders will be hired to train, lead and supervise a team of Enumerators, while Enumerators will be hired to complete census questionnaires with residents. Applicants must be
18 years of age or older, a Canadian citizen or otherwise eligible to work in Canada, and available to work flexible hours, mainly evenings, and weekends.
