School Zone Updates
WEYBURN – As the school year approaches, the City of Weyburn and the Weyburn Police Service would like to remind everyone of the changes to the school zones.
Changes to hours of school speed limits: The speed limit in any school zone is 30 km/hour between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Signs for all school zones have been updated to state this.
Signs have been removed from the former Souris School traffic zone. New signs are installed in the Legacy Park Elementary School zone on 5th Street and Douglas Road. School zone signs have been removed in the Haig School area and new signs have been installed for the Don Mitchell Park designated recreational area on Coteau Avenue.
