On Sept. 29, Basal spraying for Dutch Elm Disease will begin in the garbage collection Area 4 (weather permitting).
Only city-owned elm trees will be sprayed at this time. Watch for signage in spraying areas and please avoid these areas for 24 hours.

Basal spraying for Dutch Elm Disease will begin in garbage collection Areas 2, 3 & 5 (weather permitting).

Sept. 26, 2022
The City of Weyburn Parks department is performing basal spraying operations to city-owned elm trees in garbage collection Areas 1 through 5 for the control of Dutch Elm Disease.
Operations will begin (weather permitting):
Area 1 – Tuesday, Sept. 27
Area 2, 3 and 5 – Wednesday, Sept. 28
Area 4 – Thursday, Sept. 29
Spraying will be conducted during the hours of 6 a.m. – 2 p.m. and will cease between 8-9 a.m. and from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. when students may be present.
