Please avoid parking on the southside of 1st Ave between 2nd Street and Government Road.

Road Closure- Saskatchewan Drive access from Queen Street
Due to weather conditions, the road is in need of repair and will be closed until further notice.
The City asks residents to take alternative routes while road repairs are underway.

City crews will be snow clearing trouble spots in the South Hill area, targeting avenues and improving drainage.

City of Weyburn crews will continue snow removal on Friday, March 8, targeting Coteau Ave. and 5th St.

Please be advised that City crews will begin snow removal on secondary routes starting Thursday, March 7 which includes:
- Douglas Rd.
- 3rd St. S
- 4th St. S
- Coteau Ave.
This work will take a few days to complete. Residents on these streets are asked to remove parked vehicles on the road if possible.
The City thanks residents and drivers for their patience during snow removal operations.

The City is advising drivers that windrows will remain in certain areas of the downtown core overnight. This is due to the amount and type of snow, which has delayed snow removal operations.
Please remember, drivers should take alternative routes when City crews and heavy equipment is present to avoid entering the ‘work zone.’ This is for the safety of both the public and City workers or contractors.

Snow removal operations will continue downtown throughout Wednesday.
Please avoid parking on the street if possible and we ask drivers to give space when approach equipment so crews can work as efficiently and safely as possible.
Snow removal operations began Sunday during the storm, with crews clearing priority/emergency routes and trouble spots throughout the city.
Priority routes and downtown is to be completed by Wednesday evening. Crews will begin clearing secondary routes for the remainder of the week.
March 4, 2024
On Tuesday, March 5, City crews are focusing on snow clearing of downtown sidewalks and streets.
This work will begin in the early hours of Tuesday.
Please avoid parking downtown overnight and throughout the morning, if possible. Business owners are encouraged to clear sidewalks around their property.
Residents on Foster St. are asked to remove vehicles from the road.
