Green Drop Ltd. is assisting the City of Weyburn in pruning city-owned boulevard trees. Work begins Tuesday May 7, and is expected to last into next week.
Pruning will begin in the downtown and high traffic areas, which the City identified as a priority area to be pruned for the health and control of these trees.
Green Drop will provide tree pruning services of crown cleaning, crown raising and pruning for overall health of 300 City of Weyburn boulevard trees in the following areas:

“No Parking Zone” signage will be placed on city-owned trees to remind residents to remove vehicles from the street. Please use caution when travelling by work zones and avoid when possible. The safety of workers, traffic, and pedestrians is a key priority for the City of Weyburn.
The City of Weyburn is currently responsible for over 7,000 city-owned trees throughout its urban forest which require ongoing maintenance and pruning to help them thrive.
