Government Rd. remains closed from Hwy 39 to Railway Ave. until mid-day Friday to support the integrity of recent repairs before the road is reopened.
The section from Railway Ave. to Souris Ave. is now open, and access to local businesses has been restored.

Major asphalt repairs on Government Rd. will begin Monday, June 2 and continue through Thursday, June 5.
- Government Rd. will be closed to all traffic from Hwy 39 to Souris Ave.
- No access from Railway Ave. onto Government Rd.
Please follow posted detours:
- Access to businesses in the area, including Barber Motors, will be routed westbound on Souris Ave.
- Heavy trucks must use 1st Ave. NE and 16th St. to access Hwy 39.
- Local traffic can detour eastbound via Souris Ave.
Allow extra travel time and drive with caution to help keep work crews safe.
