Traffic restrictions at the intersection of 5th St. and 1st Ave. NE will begin Monday, July 21 for traffic signal work.
- Speed will be reduced to 30 km/h in the work zone.
- Use alternate routes if possible.
- Use caution when traveling through the intersection and follow all posted signage.
This temporary restriction is expected to remain in place all week.

Due to weather, 5th St. and 1st Ave. NE traffic signal work has been rescheduled for the week of July 21 (weather pending).

Starting July 14, there will be turning lane restrictions at the intersection of 5th St. and 1st Ave. NE due to traffic signal work.
- Speed will be reduced to 30 km/h in the work zone.
- Use alternate routes if possible.
- Use caution when traveling through the intersection and follow all posted signage.
This temporary restriction is expected to remain in place all week.

A full closure of the intersection is scheduled for August to complete traffic signal installation. Updates will be provided as details are confirmed.
