The City of Weyburn is pleased to introduce Young Fellows Active Hours, a new initiative that will provide free drop-in access to select recreation opportunities at the Credit Union Spark Centre for community members of all ages.
Sponsored by the Weyburn Young Fellows Club, the program is designed to support accessible opportunities for residents to stay active, build healthy routines and make use of the City’s community recreation spaces.
Young Fellows Active Hours schedule:
- Wednesdays (starting Sept. 9) | 1 to 3 p.m.
Walking Track - Sundays (starting Sept. 13) | 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Walking Track and Mini Gym
Sunday drop-in hours will also feature a rotating lineup of Mini Gym activities, including basketball, volleyball, pickleball, badminton and floor hockey.
These designated hours are subject to availability and may not be offered during special events, adjusted operating hours, facility closures or scheduled programming.
The support of the Weyburn Young Fellows Club reflects a shared commitment to a “Community for All” by creating more opportunities for residents to access and enjoy community recreation opportunities.
“When local organizations step forward to support access to recreation, it makes a real difference for our community,” said Richard Henning, Director of Leisure Services. “We appreciate the Weyburn Young Fellows Club for helping make that possible through this initiative.”
