City of Weyburn crews are out responding to snow and blowing conditions, starting with first priority routes and trouble areas.
Here are a couple key reminders as Weyburn remains under a snowfall warning:
- Drivers – Visibility and traction may be reduced and some areas are more susceptible to drifting. Stick to main routes and priority streets whenever possible. Avoid routes that are prone to drifting to help prevent vehicles from becoming stuck.
- Residents – Do not push snow onto city streets or lanes. Snow from driveways and sidewalks must be placed on your property (yard), not on the roadway. Your cooperation helps crews clear routes more efficiently and keeps roads passable for everyone.
