Trails Day

The 2019 Trails Day kicks off June 16 at 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. in River Park.

This year will feature performances by Small City Blues and Lindsey Bell, as well as a magic show featuring Richy Roy. Come enjoy bounce houses, local food vendors and a scavenger hunt with prizes! Entry to Trails Day is free, just bring your own lawn chair.

The 5th Annual Duck Derby will be held in conjunction with Trails Day this year; the drop will take place at 1 p.m. on the Souris River in River Park. Tickets are $5, 3 for $10 or 10 for $30 and can be purchased at City Hall (157 3rd St. NE), the Weyburn Police station (400 Coteau Ave.), Public Works and Parks building (55 16th St. NE) or the Weyburn Leisure Centre (532 5th St. NE).

The Opportunity Road Race, which showcases the Tatagwa Trails System, will also be held on June 16 beginning at 8:15 a.m. Go to www.weyburnroadrace.com to register.

The family fun Trails Day is hosted by the City of Weyburn Parks Board and sponsored by Saskatchewan Lotteries and Association of Saskatchewan Urban Parks and Conservation Agencies (ASUPCA).
