City of Weyburn 110th Anniversary

On Sept. 1, the City of Weyburn celebrates its 110th anniversary as a city. A community event is to being held to recognize this significant milestone.
The City will be serving birthday cake from 12-1 p.m. outside City Hall. Historical items from the City’s archives will also be on display for viewing.
“110 years is a significant milestone in our city’s rich history,” said Mayor Roy on the history of the community. “Weyburn has grown, evolved and thrived in remarkable ways. We can continue to build a vibrant and prosperous city that remains an example for generations to come.”
The City extends an invitation to all residents and well-wishers to visit City Hall on Sept. 1 over the lunch hour, kicking off the long weekend and celebrating the collective achievements of the past.
