October 6, 2019 - October 12, 2019
Sunday, October 6 –
Saturday, October12
Weyburn
The City of Weyburn Fire Department is teaming up with the National Fire Protection Association® (NFPA®)—the official sponsor of Fire Prevention Week for more than 90 years—to promote this year’s Fire Prevention Week campaign, “Not Every Hero Wears a Cape. Plan and Practice Your Escape”. National Fire Prevention Week 2019 takes place from October 6th to 12th. The campaign works to educate everyone about the small but important actions they can take to keep themselves and those around them safe.
The City of Weyburn Fire Department is hosting a series of events in support of this year’s Fire Prevention Week campaign, “Not Every Hero Wears a Cape. Plan and Practice Your Escape”. These events include school visits and education sessions. Fire trucks and personnel will also be at the Coop and the Wholesale grocery store locations on October 12, 2019 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. to answer questions and promote fire prevention initiatives.
