Tatagwa Tree Day

The City of Weyburn will be hosting its annual Tatagwa Tree Day event Saturday, Aug 6th, 2022, to plant approximately 135 coniferous and deciduous trees. There are only 50 spots available for volunteers to help plant, the City is inviting people to register in advance by emailing cblock@weyburn.ca or tcherlet@weyburn.ca or phone 306-848-3290. Please include all contact information and number of participants in your party. The deadline to register is August 3 or once all spots are filled.

The Tatagwa Tree Day event is funded by Sask Lotteries and by the Association of Saskatchewan Urban Parks and Conservation Agencies.

The event will kick off at 9am and will be located just off of highway 39, straight North of River Park and Souris River along the Signal Hill Trail walking path.  Parking will be available just off the highway near the river, a BBQ and refreshments will be provided and prizes will be available to be won.
