Councillor Van Betuw was born and raised in Weyburn and loved it so much he never left! Van Betuw ran Carpet One from 1980 until 2012 and moved to property management afterwards where he remains today.
Councillor Van Betuw has been married to his wife Judy, a retired school teacher, for 34 years! They raised three children together who are now grown and living lives of their own.
Van Betuw joined council to offer a different perspective and he hopes to give back to the community by insuring fiscal responsibility and by increasing economic development!
