The Don Mitchell Park is a one hectare, well-treed and irrigated green park space. The park includes the Tot Lot playground, a paddling pool and spray park generously donated by the Weyburn Young Fellows.
The spray park opens May long weekend until the second week in September (weather permitting) and includes a dump bucket, a rainbow of colours that sprays, cannon sprayers and numerous geysers!
Admission is free. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. During operation hours, a supervisor is always in attendance; however, please keep in mind, they are not a certified lifeguard. Washrooms are available for public use during the hours of operation only.
Paddling Pool hours of operation:
July 1 – Sept. 5
Monday to Saturday:
10 a.m. – 5 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.
(Closed for lunch from 12-1 p.m.)
Sunday:
10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
