Debra Button is a long-time public servant, with a career in healthcare and five terms on Weyburn City Council—two as a Councillor, three as Mayor—plus one term as a trustee for the Holy Family Roman Catholic Separate School Division. Her life’s work has always been focused on serving her community, and she is excited by the opportunity to serve again.
It has been a great honour for Debra to represent Weyburn and work hard for the people here. She wants to apply her years of experience and knowledge as a city councillor once again and serve the needs of all members of our community.
Debra Button knows how important it is to work closely with colleagues on council, to build relationships within and between communities, to understand local issues and what it takes to solve them, and above all, to bring passion and commitment to the job.
