Let’s clean up, Weyburn! We’re calling on local businesses, clubs and organizations to roll up their sleeves and take part in Wey-Clean Week 2025, happening May 5-9.
The City believes that tackling litter and properly disposing of waste are simple actions our residents can take to make our community a safer and more attractive place to live, play and work.
NEW THIS YEAR
Clean up days now align with garbage collection days. To make cleanup easier and more efficient, we’ve updated the schedule to match the City’s garbage collection zones. There will be no roll-off bins located around the city this year.
Each day, we’ll focus on a different area of the city based on garbage collection zones. View the map at weyburn.ca/refuse-collection:
May 5 – City crews focusing city-wide + Area 4
May 6 – Area 5
May 7 – Area 1
May 8 – Area 2
May 9 – Area 3 + Downtown
We’re simplifying this year’s Wey-Clean Week:
- Use your household bins for garbage and recycling.
- Toss small items in public garbage cans while cleaning parks or city-owned spaces.
- Team up with a neighbour to share bin space.
- Sort and recycle when you can.
- Planning a big cleanup? Contact us and we’ll help coordinate garbage pickup!
