Weyburn boasts an original First Nations settlement dating back to the late 1800’s. Visitors can see the original buffalo trails, buffalo rubbing stones, effigies of a medicine wheel, Buffalo and Wild Man Butte in the area south of the T.C. Douglas Centre. A medicine snake with all its detail is also visible, as well as native plant species. The park is located on the highest point for miles around, named Signal Hill because smoke signals originating here could be see for a great distance.
