WEYBURN – Effective Friday, November 6, all residents in Saskatoon, Regina and Prince Albert are required to wear non-medical masks in indoor public spaces to reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission. A public health order will be in place for at least 28 days.
For residents in other communities, health officials strongly recommend wearing a non-medical mask anywhere outside the home.
Health officials strongly recommend wearing a non-medical mask in the community, even if you don’t have symptoms. It is an additional measure you can take to reduce transmission of COVID-19.
Non-medical masks are important in situations, community settings, and all indoor public places where physical distancing isn’t possible or is unpredictable. This includes transit, stores, shopping malls, gas stations, workplaces, schools and places of worship.
For the latest on public health orders, visit the City of Weyburn’s Covid-19 information page or the Government of Saskatchewan website.
