Important:
- Water treated with chloramines remains perfectly safe for daily needs, including drinking, washing, bathing and other household use.
- If you have an aquarium, we recommend using a filter or de-chlorinator, available at any pet store, to eliminate residual from the tank water.
- Saskatchewan Health Authority is aware of necessary precautions to be taken for kidney dialysis. Please contact your physician if you require further information.

Update July 11
The launch date of the City’s new water treatment plant disinfection process has been rescheduled by the Water Security Agency.
Starting from the second week of August, the treatment plant will implement the use of chloramines. A specific date will be officially announced one week before the process begins.
