City of Weyburn snow removal operations are underway after around 6 cm of snow fell on the community.
Crews began clearing first priority routes early Thursday morning, and will continue to focus on trouble areas and service roads.
Downtown roads and walking routes are also being maintained by crews; business owners are encouraged to clear sidewalks around their property.
The City is reminding residents to avoid pushing snow from driveways, sidewalks and walkways onto the road. Refuse Bylaw 2018-3391, Section 5 (7) prohibits the deposit of snow from private property onto city streets and lanes, as it causes bigger issues on residential roads and delays clearing operations.
