Significant traffic detours will come into effect on Tuesday, June 10 as part of the ongoing Hwy 13/39 Renewal Project in Weyburn.
What to expect:
- No through traffic will be permitted on Hwy 13 across Hwy 39.
- All Hwy 13 traffic will be detoured using nearby Rural Municipality grid roads.
- Separate detours are in place for passenger vehicles and truck traffic.
- Traffic on Hwy 39 will remain open via a temporary bypass, and reduced to two-way, single lane traffic.
Detour signage will be clearly posted to guide motorists. Please stay alert, as traffic will be directed through unfamiliar rural roads. Allow for additional travel time.
These traffic changes are expected to remain in place throughout the summer construction season.

This notice is being shared in coordination with the Ministry of Highways. While the City of Weyburn will continue to provide updates as they become available, the City is not involved in the coordination of this project.
