A power outage at the Nickle Lake water intake has interrupted raw water flow to the City of Weyburn since approximately 5:30 a.m. today. As a result, reservoir levels are critically low.
We are urging all residents and businesses to immediately restrict non-essential water use. Please hold off on activities such as laundry, dishwashing, outdoor watering, vehicle washing or other high-usage tasks.
SaskPower has been notified and is working to resolve the issue. The City will provide updates as more information becomes available.
Thank you for helping us conserve water during this interruption.
