Due to water main flushing, residents in select areas may experience temporary low water pressure and/or discoloured water on Tuesday, March 31. This work is part of the City’s response following earlier city-wide water pressure issues.
Instructions
- If your water appears cloudy or discoloured, run your cold water tap until the water clears.
- Residents must continue to follow the Precautionary Drinking Water Advisory (PDWA) currently in effect.
Updated 11:55 a.m., March 31
City-wide water pressure has been restored. The Precautionary Drinking Water Advisory (PDWA) remains in effect while required water quality testing is completed.
The advisory will remain in effect until test results have been received and reviewed. The public should expect the PDWA to remain in place until later this week.
Until the advisory is lifted, continue to bring all water to a rolling boil for at least one minute before consumption, including water used for drinking, cooking, brushing teeth, and food preparation.
The City will notify residents and businesses once the PDWA has been lifted.
