The Weyburn and Estevan Joint Tactical Support Team will be conducting routine training at Whitecap Resources Centre and the Weyburn Leisure Centre on Wednesday and Thursday.
Business license renewals due by Jan. 31, 2026
Invoices for renewal were mailed Friday, Jan. 9, 2026 with payments due by Jan. 31. A business license is required by any business which intends to operate a commercial, merchandising, or industrial activity within the City of Weyburn corporate boundaries.
UPDATE – Garbage pickup Area 5 & 1 rescheduled
The Weyburn Landfill is closed as of 9:30 a.m. on Dec. 17 for the remainder of the day due to weather conditions. Garbage collection is postponed, to be rescheduled.

UPDATE: Facility Closure – Credit Union Spark Centre expected to open Dec. 12 at noon
The Credit Union Spark Centre is closed for the remainder of today, Dec. 10, following a fire in part of the building earlier today. This includes the Weyburn Art Gallery.

Fire incident at City of Weyburn arenas on Nov. 23
On Sunday afternoon, Nov. 23, a fire occurred on the main Zamboni at the City of Weyburn ice arenas. Due to the prompt response by City staff and the Weyburn Fire Department, the incident was brought under control, preventing further damage.

City reminds families to remove unauthorized items from graves at Hillcrest Cemetery by Oct. 15
After Oct. 15, City maintenance staff will remove any remaining unauthorized articles. Items deemed to have monetary value by the Cemetery Administrator will be securely stored for a limited time for pickup.
