Traffic restrictions at the intersection of Railway Ave. and 3rd St. begin Wednesday, May 21 due to storm line and manhole repair work.
Work is scheduled to begin at 7 a.m. and is expected to continue throughout the day.
During construction, the eastbound lane on Railway Ave. between 3rd St. and 4th St. will be closed. Westbound, northbound and southbound traffic will remain available, however motorists should expect traffic restrictions and delays in the area.
- Obey all posted signage.
- Back alley are not to be used as detours.
- Use caution around workers and equipment.
- Use alternate routes to avoid the area where possible.
Construction season is underway in Weyburn and residents can expect daily traffic restrictions, temporary closures, and delays as crews complete road, utility, and infrastructure work throughout the community.
