At approximately 5:11 p.m. on Wednesday, June 10, the City experienced a brief water depressurization issue following a power outage at the Water Treatment Plant.
Water Treatment Plant staff responded immediately to restore water pressure within the water distribution system. Throughout the response, the City remained in close communication with the Water Security Agency.
Based on the immediate response and corrective actions taken, the Water Security Agency is not issuing a Precautionary Drinking Water Advisory at this time. Additional water samples are being collected as part of the City’s quality assurance process and commitment to maintaining the integrity of the water distribution system.
The City thanks residents and businesses for their patience and recognizes the staff involved for their immediate response, after-hours coordination and continued monitoring.
Please note: The City received an influx of calls to numbers that are not designated for public service concerns during this event. Residents are reminded to not contact Water Treatment Plant staff directly regarding service concerns. Public Works matters must be reported through official City communication channels so they can be received, tracked and directed to the appropriate on-call staff.

The water depressurization issue has been resolved, and pressure has returned to normal operating levels across the community.
There are no advisories in place for residents or businesses, and water use may continue.
The City will provide additional information tomorrow morning.

The City is aware of the water depressurization issues currently happening throughout the community.
This depressurization is the result of an earlier power outage at the water treatment plant. Power has been restored and City staff are currently working to return the water pressure to regular levels.
