The City of Weyburn is reminding residents of several facility closures, schedule changes and service adjustments for Labour Day on Monday, Sept. 7.
The following City facilities will be closed Sept. 7:
- Civic offices
- Credit Union Spark Centre
- Weyburn Art Gallery
The Weyburn Leisure Centre will be open with holiday hours on Sept. 7, giving residents one more chance to enjoy the outdoor pool before the summer season wraps up. Swimming times include:
- Lane Swim: 12 to 1 p.m.
- Public Swim: 1:15 to 4:45 p.m.
The Weyburn Landfill will operate on holiday hours Sept. 7 from 8 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Area 3 garbage collection normally scheduled for Monday, Sept. 7 will be moved to Tuesday, Sept. 8. Residents are asked to have carts out by 7 a.m. on Tuesday.
City spray parks will remain open until the second weekend of September, weather permitting, giving families a little more time to squeeze in some end-of-summer fun.
